otherwise you're just installing into TC

Yeah its easy to change it back. Need to mod it in TWareT.txt
Presently I am considering to do exactly the same. Or maybe at least change it to L.

In the above I was told I could change the size of jumpdrives back to thier original size by changing the TWareT.txt file. The only thing i see is a TWareT.pck file. Need a little help please.

And dont just name the files 3 and 4. You need to add the 0 to it, i.e, 03.cat 04.cat.

Well, given what you've said, it's probably not worth using. I haven't used PG myself so I didn't want to say yes or no.
Grimshad wrote:I've noticed there is a lot of Kha'ak and Xenon attacks on Argon sectors, but they are pretty small. Will attacks like this lead to a sector take over? can races capture sectors in XRM?
No. There are no sector take overs. XRM doesn't do that.
Grimshad wrote:I claimed a Kha'ak Fighter and as soon as I did 3 Argon fighters turns red and ran after it to destroy it. I'm guessing the races will destroy Kha'ak ships no matter who owns them?
I claimed one of the random vanilla derelict Khaak Fighters and I had no issues. However, it might be worth resetting its friend / foe settings next time you capture something that's Khaak. It might make a difference... I'm not sure what went wrong there.

Sounds like you didn't install it correctly, or you have installed something that conflicts. Try installing the mod again from a fresh install (or restore your vanilla backup, which saves time) and just try installing XRM. Once you get that working, then add in the mods you want to use.

Also, might help if you do a manual install but make sure that you read the instructions very carefully in the first few posts of this thread.

You arent making any sense!

What do you mean by "integrate addons into the mod"?

Do you mean recommended scripts/mods?

Its not as hard as youre making it really. Just take it step by step. Dont worry about what WASNT done and just work with what is.

1: Install XRM by unzipping it into the addon folder (Where AP is) and rename them to 03 and 04.

Then download the "addons" you want from here.

Thats it really. The rest is cake.

If you cant figure that out then just ask for an explanation. You only struggle because you arent asking for specific help.

Tried it again. claimed another Kha'ak Fighters in another sector and the same thing happened. 3 fighters in the sector instantly turned red, ran over, killed the ship and then turned back to blue on the sector map. Still red in the game overlay, but they don't attack me, they just wanted to kill the Kha'ak ship. The ships friend/foe settings were correct.

For the Improved Races/Pirate Guild thing. The whole reason I have always used them is because I wanted to know I was fighting for something. My end goal in the game is to capture at least a decent size portion of the universe. It's one thing to capture it, it's a completely different thing to keep it when your enemies are trying to fight for it back. It turns the universe into a dynamic and living world that is completely different every time you play.

The reason I got XRM is because I wanted more ships/stations/weapons choice in the game.

I wonder is there a way to just get the ships/stations/weapons and play with my prefered setup with IR and PG?

Weird. I have no idea what would cause that. You could try using the comm. channel whilst in the ship and apologise for the weapons fire....... that'd probably fix it.

Other than that... Paul might have to look into it.

Yeah, I understand totally where you're coming from. It's just the aggressive nature of the XRM jobs that prevent people from using IR and the like without things getting crazy. Maybe Paul will eventually create a non-aggressive jobs file so mods like IR can take that part over.

However, toning down the settings of PG or IR might make it work a little less crazy with XRM but that will require you to tinker around with it a bit.

Well...... don't worry about them. Never really liked MARS or CODEA myself.

I think your attitude towards how it isnt is just going to frustrate you. I assume you know how to use the internet enough to get the answers you need. If you want help installing XRM i will be happy to help. Youll have to work with a therapist to work out your anger issues with the way paul organized XRM though :)

this works wonders with addons I think or for any other mod!

if you want to know if a addon is compatible with this mod look on first page and if it isnt there ask the maker of the addon.... Paul wouldn't know cause he didn't make the addon.

@grimshad

IR and PG work just fine with XRM. It just might get a little crazy. But you clearly have a grasp of how IR and PG work so you can just tone them both down.

Ouch.

But seriously, google is your friend. Just add x3tc to the front of the mod name in the search box.

Which part is the jobs file located? I think what i'm going to do is i'll just remove the XRM jobs completely, add back my NO Civilian jobs. Then use IR and PG
