ah, ok so clue is 10/5/44 so inputting it should read as 10/44/5?DrBullwinkle wrote:Man, I really pulled my hair out over the same thing in Treasure Hunt.ColManiac wrote:Treasure hunt quest,
I am on the part where you have to find something, I have the coordinates the clue was :- Jarren Gisler, 10/5/44.
I am at the sector location, I used the auto pilot and entered in this exact line 10,5,44
The plot gives some coordinate clues in x,y,z format. However, the in-game sector map is x,z,y.

Ok I tried every combination and I end up in the centre of the sector,
What is the correct input to type when moving to a percific location?

You're likely remembering this awesome script collection.
It adds a lot though, which may be discouraging if someone is only interested in less headaches from satellites.
My, suggestion, Ragemaster? Don't bother with satellites yourself. Use a script such as Galaxy Explorer to do everything for you. Once in a while a satellite will be blown up, but having a couple of GalEx running around ensures it will soon be replaced.
In XRM I strongly suggest you to use an M6 such as the Truelight Seeker for GalEx duties: its M6 class shields grants it survivability, its built in military scanner makes it very effective, and the high top speed makes it so it can do its work almost as fast as an M5 explorer variant. Plus, being an M6, it can jump if so you wish, to further speed up the process.

Ok gonna pop my head in and ask probably an answered question. But after searching for ages (even the striking software site) I could not find the answer. So...... I came across a ship in one of the southerly Paranid core sectors and it looked pretty cool. So I brought it's info' up to see what it was. As I was doing so we both were fired on by a bunch of Pirate Blackshaw Prototypes and had to sort them out. When I looked back for the ship it had gated, so I followed. Hit '.' to bring up the sector and it was not there. All I can remember is it was OTAS, it had 4 x 200mj shields and the name was some thing like tr175 now I could be way off on the the name but it was defo' OTAS. Ohh and I spotted the speed to be 288. Any Ideas? I have looked at a couple of OTAS ship yards but found nothing. It was very similar to the Hyperion Vanguard. I am running X3-AP XRM.

Quite possibly. I will keep an eye out. Reason I did not find it, OTAS is down as Argon on your sites ship list.paulwheeler wrote:Was it this?

Aha. Well, 10 meters by 5 meters by 44 meters (in any direction) is approximately where? Pretty close to 0,0,0, right?ColManiac wrote:ah, ok so clue is 10/5/44 so inputting it should read as 10/44/5?

So try 10k, 44k, 5k (or 10k, 5k, 44k, in case flipping the coordinates was not what threw you off course).
If that doesn't work, then use Spike's Walkthroughs. He uses spoiler tags so that it will not ruin the rest of your game.
Oooh... everything?! Hahaha!paulwheeler wrote:That there just about sums up everything that's wrong with X games.DrBullwinkle wrote: The plot gives some coordinate clues in x,y,z format. However, the in-game sector map is x,z,y.

Hull Packs Question.
Hi,
I am confused with the hull packs can someone please help
Do you need all 3 packs to modify the hulls on all ships?
I noticed that the 3 packs all have the same script file name so if I install all 3 then the script file will overwrite each time is this correct and when I run the script manually will if work on all the 3 hull packs installed?
Or have I got it all wrong as it wouldn't be the first time.

Re: Hull Packs?
Every hull pack will cover every ship, not just the big one.arnak wrote:Hi Paul,

The difference between them is how much the hull rating is boosted. Small one boosts a little, next one a bit more, the big one the most.

Having trouble getting Enhanced Equipment Docks working, they just won't show up in the ware list. Followed the install instruction from first XRM post:
05 - eEQ_2.7 AP
06 - XRM1.30_PART_1
07 - XRM1.30d_PART_2
08 - XRMDOCKINGWARESIZE
09 - XRM_BACKGR
10 - TC_Plots_2.2a_AP_3.1
11 - Advanced Complex-Hub 2.0-beta.1
I tried this way also:
05 - XRM1.30_PART_1
06 - XRM1.30d_PART_2
07 - XRMDOCKINGWARESIZE
08 - XRM_BACKGR
09 - TC_Plots_2.2a_AP_3.1
10 - Advanced Complex-Hub 2.0-beta.1
11 - eEQ_2.7 AP
Started new game both ways, no effect. Any help?

Probably a stupid question but here goes:
I just finished the PHQ plot and placed my HQ. I reversed engineered a Notus however it requires both hull plating, water as well as terran MRE to produce.
I was under the impression that it would only require resources from that race so in this case Argon, or at least only require resources I can actually get lol
Am I missing something or why do I need Terran resources in order to build Argon stuff?

You should definitely only be seeing Argon wares as resources for the Notus... I don't have access to the XRM files at the moment, so I can't check, but the HQ config file treats all Argon ships the same, so if there was a problem, I'd expect people to see it when building any Argon ship.vortexdr15 wrote:Probably a stupid question but here goes:
