Can Ukraine has something with long range and air superiority?

Seems they reached that "Do you want the total war?" stage. Time to rent a stadium and shout it out loud.
whatever that even is at this point

I agree, that seems to be Russia's future (with the weakened military that comes with it). Looking forward to regular empty threats, like North Korea has been doing for decades.
It has seemed fairly obvious (to me) that it was Ukraine who blew up the Russian Nord Stream pipeline, so I wouldn't be too surprised if they engage in similar attacks. The Washington Post (paywall) has an article about a senior Ukrainian military officer alleging as much - although I suppose some will automatically chalk that up as Russian propaganda of some sort or other, although I'm not sure how.notaterran wrote: ↑Mon, 13. Usually in these situations that's why I think it was Russia. As soon as they start saying they have the evidence but never show, I automatically assume they are admitting to this. I can't quickly find what all was said by the Russians.Alan Phipps wrote: ↑Mon, 13. Still, I digress.
A policy of double standards is in play, an international investigation has been announced, but, in fact, is not being carried out. Russia demands justice be restored, but the United States is doing everything to lead the investigation on false trails.

Sadly, this one will never be a viable strategic direction - if Ukraine commit bigger forces there, Russia has an option to bomb a few remaining dams upstream Dnipro. This would cut of significant Ukrainian forces for Russia to easily crush.burger1 wrote: ↑Sat, 18. Nov 23, 06:59 Ukraine expands and reinforces it's bridgehead across the Dnipro river. Might be hard to support an advance there due to lack of antiaircraft stuff, supply lines and artillery support. Could potentially cut off Crimea but would require much more work. It's much less defended by Russia than other areas.
I will sound like a broken record, but we must stop treating Russian losses like a losses - Russia is not a normal country, so normal logic doesn't apply to them.notaterran wrote: ↑Tue, 28. Nov 23, 00:50 Russian losses in recent months have been horrendous because now the Ukrainians are defending again. Do you think that Avdiivka will become another Bakhmut? Even if the Ukrainians retreat they cannot be disappointed at the price that Russia has already paid.
